Dr Kirthi Menon is our newest Associate Endocrinologist and General Physician who has joined us following completion of her PhD from Monash University.  Her research investigated the economic impact of obesity and diabetes with a focus on low- cost interventions for the prevention of metabolic diseases.

​

Kirthi completed her training at Peninsula Health and Monash Health after gaining her medical degree - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from University of Melbourne in 2007.

Kirthi is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia and  the Australian Diabetes Society.

​

• Type 1 and 2 diabetes

• Gestational Diabetes

• Osteoporosis

• Thyroid disorders

• Pituitary and Adrenal dysfunction
