Dr Masoud Mohebbi joined us in February 2024.

 
Dr Mohebbi obtained his medical degree from the Birjand University of Medical Sciences in Iran in 2004. He subsequently attended the Mashhad University of Medical Science where he successfully completed with honours his studies of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. 

He worked as an Endocrinologist in Iran until 2023 at the same time becoming an Associate Professor of Endocrinology at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and working at The Imam Reza Hospital in Mashhad Iran as the Endocrinology Fellow.

 

Dr Mohebbi moved to Melbourne in 2023 with his family and completed his registration at the end of 2023 at Austin Health, Melbourne.  
We are delighted he has joined Barwon Endocrinology as a consultant endocrinologist.

Dr Mohebbi is interested in all aspects of Endocrinology and Diabetes including:

• Diabetes Type 1 and 2

• Osteoporosis

• Androgen deficiency

• Thyroid cancer and other disorders

• Adrenal and pituitary disorders

​

He is fluent in Persian/Farsi and English.
